She died from the effects of anaesthesia after an operation for "female problems" (per Amy Sielaff)

31MAR 1898 the Detroit Public Library's Burton Historical Collection (313)833-1480 reports that the only Louise Johnson who died in the 20's in Detroit passed away on January 9, 1925 at the age of 56. The Death Certifica te says Dr J H Andries had been attending her for 3 months, she had a "carcinoma uter ", and died of Lobar Pneumonia with a duration of 3(?) days, following surgery. She was then buried at:
Gethsemane cemetery. (A H Peters was the Undertaker)
