Was stilll a resident of South Bend in Jan1940 when brother Emil R. passed away.
Survived by two daughters, 1 grandchild and 1g-grandchild per her 12SEP 55 South Bend Tribune obituary which is in the file.
Came to US in 1891 per her 12 SEP 55 obit in South Bend Tribune as she d id on the 1900 Federal Census.
She was a Lutheran, buried in Riverview cemetery. Rev Lanno Thelin, assistant Pastor at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. A. M. Russell Funeral Home and Dr. Holderman per Death Certificate
Living at 715 W Wayne Street when she died. Also living there had been her son, Arthur, when he passed away 22 FEB 55 (he was single although he had be en married).
She had lived at 305 S Laurel according to the 1897 South Bend Census and the 1900 US Census. 1900 Census also says they owned the house, without a Mortgage!
Her Will was probated in 1955. It is in File #195, Box #1 at the County A rchives.
She and Emil both named 1st daughters Pearl E (Edith and Elaine)
